Accelerance Vendor Case Study

This India-based Global Partner Network member has 150 people on its staff and plans to grow to over 350 people.  It has completed, or is engaged, in seven development projects and on-going programs with Accelerance clients.    

The Accelerance projects this vendor has worked on include:

  • Quickly ramped up a large group of software developers and QA specialists to develop and maintain large database applications in Oracle 9i and develop a web application in Java.
  • Took over a floundering onshore development project for a web-based application in order to accelerate product development and meet time-to-market obligations for corporate clients.   This project has become an on-going Offshore Development Center for the client with seven engineers.  
  • Supplemented a client’s existing offshore development programming team that was unable to expand to meet the client’s growing software development requirements.  A team of six engineers is developing this software product.   
  • Provided a  “virtual programming team” to a Silicon Valley startup, operating without in-house engineers, in order to control costs and meet accelerated time-to-market requirements.
