Situational Summary

Amicus is a fintech company on a mission to fundamentally change the way individuals, corporations, foundations, and governments engage in philanthropy by facilitating a digital transformation of the non-profit space.

Amicus modernizes donor-advised funds (DAFs) for charitable giving to empower motivated donors of any size. Now, the average person can make a bigger impact. Amicus leverages its DAF 2.0 technology to bridge communications and transparency gaps, thus fostering meaningful connections between donors and nonprofits.

Amicus is looking for a partner that can help execute with consistency and predictability - knowing software development inherently is not predictable, but looking for as much predictability, as possible. The partner needs to help Amicus get better at what it does and Raja is seeking a proactive partner to work with the team. “Help me innovate, not just take orders from me or from my team, but actually help us get better at what they do”

To begin with, three resources will be added:

  • QA Automation
  • Two mid-level developers: Full Stack with Python, React, and Postgres SQL

Amicus will carve out specific deliverables, features and ideas, on a quarterly basis based on a roadmap for the partner to deliver. The team will face off to the dev team in Tel Aviv as well as the US team so the right timezone will be key for partner selection.
