Situational Summary
Jeff Kramer is a current client of Accelerance and Kambda in Costa Rica. His experience with Kambda (Costa Rica) has been excellent and because of that, Jeff has returned to Accelerance to look for help for Network Financial Printing, based in NYC.
Jeff is an Advisor and Board member to NFP. The company wishes to move their development away from Russia where it currently is, to a location that is easier to work with and which has better "optics" considering that NFP has relationships with banks and in the M&A space.
Latin America is a preferred destination based on these factors and Jeff's personal experience. Jeff mentioned that he had mentioned this opportunity to Kambda and to Tekton. (from a personal standpoint, I think there are better options from a vertical, scalability, depth and optics perspective...even though both Kambda and Tekton are in excellent standing from a Net Promoter Score perspective).
NFP's technical needs are around web/python/django. If the partner had some blockchain experience that would be a plus.
The scope is 2-3 engineers to start. Work would begin on a set of features needing to be built where the developers would pick up the codebase. The features aren't new...more iterative changes. Log in, uploading, signing, dealroom collaboration are examples of such features.
Jeff mentioned that this move is imminent.
