Creative Software is a pioneer and leader in Sri Lanka’s software industry with 200 Software Engineers employed and under management. They specialise in building and managing dedicated teams of software engineers for ISV’s, working with development, application management, support and quality assurance.

Creative Software commenced operations in Colombo in 1999. They work for clients around the world and across sectors: Construction, Logistics, Manufacturing, Retail, Finance, Healthcare, Mobile Workforce, Enterprise Search, Telecommunications, CRM, eCommerce and e-Learning.

Their technology stack includes .NET (C#, ASP.NET MVC, WCF, WPF), Java (J2EE, Spring/Hibernate), Native/Cross-Platform and Hybrid Mobile App Development (iOS, Android, Xamarin, Ionic), Web Development (JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap, HTML5, AngularJS, CSS3), Cloud Computing (Windows Azure, AWS), Build Automation/CI/Deployment (Jenkins, Atlassian Bamboo, Docker), Reporting (.NET Reporting, Pentaho), Quality Assurance (Selenium, Jmeter, Gatlin), Enterprise Search (Fast, Apache Solr) and Project Management tools such as JIRA and Pivotal Tracker.

Most Creative Software employees work with Mobile (Android, iOS, Xamarin), Java, .Net platform, and use Agile development methodologies.Creative Software uses their own Agile Project Management tool (TrackIT). If a customer is using an existing tool (Jira or similar) Creative Software is comfortable using whatever management tool the client requests. Skype, Hangouts, Slack etc., is used for day-to-day communication with clients.

Creative Software is focused and dedicated in its efforts to improve the velocity in each scrum team. Teams use either automated testing or test-driven development.Creative Software is a preferred Microsoft vendor with special expertise in Enterprise Search. They have had 100 people working on the development of what is now Search for Sharepoint 2013 in collaboration with Microsoft's own engineering teams. They still retain +15 people for Microsoft providing AMS and infrastructure services in collaboration with the MS offices in Boston and Oslo.
