Todd Ruback

Todd Ruback brings over 17 years of experience at the intersection of data privacy, advertising technology, and law. As a Managing Director in FTI Technology’s Information Governance, Privacy & Security practice, he advises clients on how to manage consent, govern data use, and navigate the complex world of online tracking technologies.

Todd has led major privacy and compliance efforts across industries. Before joining FTI, he co-led the privacy practice at Promontory Financial Group (IBM Consulting) and held senior roles at JPMorgan Chase, Ghostery, and Evidon. His work has focused on helping organizations balance strong privacy practices with business needs, from cloud migrations to designing consent and preference management strategies.

Earlier in his career, Todd spent more than two decades as an attorney, specializing in privacy, technology, and regulatory compliance. He holds both a JD and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver. Based in New York, Todd is passionate about helping businesses build trust through thoughtful, transparent data practices that put users first.
